Take a Drive

Let me set the scene.
I went to bed after three yesterday.
I know. Stupid.
Especially since I needed to be at work between 8 and 9:30am.
Clearly I'm always closer to 9:30 than 8.
But today I woke up tired.
Not just a little tired.
Alot tired.
I contemplated staying in bed and just not going.
But I definitely knew that wasnt gonna go over well.
So I dragged myself out of bed.
And left a couple minutes later than usual.
I hopped in the red car.
After the first two days of me working, Ben vetoed driving me to work anymore.
What can I say? Sometimes I like a morning chauffeur.
But sadly now I drive myself.
Drat.
So I'm driving the red car.
It is ghetto since having been in my possession Year Four.
Josh trashed it. Ben trashed it. And Lindsay crashed it.
So I go to turn onto University Drive.
And suddenly the car is not working.
Yup. Bad boy stalled.
Turning Left.
I put my hazards on. Cause I was in the freaking middle of the road.
Popped it into neutral and restarted it.
My car is an automatic.
Are you freaking kidding me.
Ridiculous.
I call Ben and he informs me of three things.
1. When low on gas the car stalls... when turning left.
2. The gas gage doesnt work slash gage how much gas is in the car.
3. The problem occurred when Lindsay crashed the car into a snow bank last year.
Stalling and feeling the car give out is annoying.
This made my drive annoying.
Stupid red car.

But yesterday I bought a new pair of scrubs. Cause P.S. I only brought one pair to AB. Yup... I'm disgusting and have been wearing the same pair of navy scrubs everyday. Pauline (my doctor) just thought I owned alot of Navy scrubs. Ha. Nope.
Pauline was shocked today to discover I only bought the one pair. Cause I ran into her whilst shopping for them and it came out I've been wearing one pair. Alaya's mom picked them out for me. It was kinda great. Though I've come to the conclusion that all scrub tops are awkward on me. I dislike that. I just wanna wear a t-shirt. Is that too much to ask?

Gem

I'm such a fun aunt.

Quickie

My room is finally clean. It only took four weeks to do. Yup thats right folks. It was disgusting for four whole weeks. Living out of a suitcase is so fun. And I'd love to pretend like I cleaned it. But I didnt. My mother couldnt stand the horror that was my room. Tho she said I was supposed to tell Dallin that it was me who cleaned it. HA. Sure wasnt. So I helped her move a dresser in and then she picked up and put away all the clothes while I informed her what was being kept and what wasnt. She's good to me like that. And... Someday I'll catch up on the blogging. Tuesdays are usually half days at work. So this might happen. Cause boy do I have stories.

Also I have good friends.
Who mail me lovely things like this book.

THANK YOU!

Winter and Waterton IV

Story Time Yo!

Round One.

Cathy brought fruit snacks.
We love fruit snacks.
Bonnie decided to take control of the fruit snacks.
She liked the power of it all.
While we waited for Cathy and Trent (our only snowshoers), Bonnie doled out fruit snacks.
Her throw was terrible.
But Clark showed off his own skills.
Good work team.

Round Two

We wanted to sled.
But our sled wouldnt slide down the hill.

Bonnie decided to help get Cath on her way.

It took a little bit.

But eventually she got on her way.

That ride was ok so we decided to try the knee board we brought with.

Bonnie did her best to help Amy go down the hill.

It didnt work out so hot.

And decided that rolling down the hill was a better option.

Round Three
This picture got taken and Bonnie cried a little about her hair.

So she decided to take her toque off. Like that would help.

Bonnie. Sometimes you have terrible ideas.

This next one was really bad.

"I'll put snow in my hair. That'll fix it"
Bad Idea Bonnie. From now on that is what you shall be known as. Bon Tron is a thing of the past. Bad Idea Bonnie. That is the future.

Feel free to laugh at how ridiculous Bonnie is.

So I decided to help a poor girl out. I have mad skills. Promise.

But not before spiking it like we were back in Junior High.

Bon Tron. I like you cause you're cute.

See? I made it better.

Round Four

So here's the story. Scottie Too Hottie decides that he will take a turn sledding down the hill off the side of the road. Several people had gone before.
So Scottie jumps head first onto the sled. And hits a rock and goes flying. He picks himself up and heads down feet first.
After he bails at the bottom we hear a call from Scott below.
"My pockets were undone. The car keys and my phone are gone."

Scottie. Why? Why must you be like that?

Bonnie calls out for prayer. And the rest of us call out for someone to call his phone. We're standing at the top of the hill where Scott first wiped out. And suddenly I heard buzzing. The phone was in the snow. We got them to keep phoning and we started to follow the buzzing.
We narrow it down and Clark and I begin digging in the snow. He busts out the phone. I keep digging in the snow and find the keys.

Yup. Clark and I are awesome.
Friends on, for sure.

Round Five
Let it be seen. This is Bonnie sledding down the side of the road.
At the end... where the sled goes flying off the edge. Keep that in mind.
Its a cliff. That leads to the creek below.

Round Six.

Cathy and I decided to go down the hill. We didnt realize two things:
1. That we'd be going really fast
2. That we'd need to bail so early so we wouldnt go over the cliff.

Yup... we did not bail. And were therefore destroyed by the cliff and the trees below.

Cathy jacked her ankle. Lost her boot and one snow shoe was ripped off.
My whole left side was dead. Not cool.
There was like ten feet of untouched snow that we
flew over. Insanity.

Yup. We were at the bottom and we're just killing ourselves laughing.
Hysterically. Because we were dead.

All in all a pretty great day.

MBP Christmas

Yup. I'm on their Christmas card list.
Cool, right?

Winter and Waterton III

Bonnie's phrase of the day?
"This is a non-judgement day right? We're not gonna be judging my outfit right?"
Or
"If you see something that you think is my bum, I promise you it is not"
Oh Bonnie.

Then she promptly harshly judged me and my winter outfit.
The Leishman Cabin is not winterized. But the fire was a roaring.
Trent does good work.

Cathy hates pink. But loves her snow pants.
I like them too.

Amy. I like your layers.

We all snuggled into the car to drive to Red Rock Road (or whatever its called).
Cathy, Me, Clark Cahoon and Bon Tron.

We put Trent in the back of the burb. Poor dear. When we were done for the day we accidentally forgot him in there. And never came back for him.
