FOURTEEN
Celebrating holiday cheer in style.

FIFTEEN
These little slave drivers.

SIXTEEN
An epic date with a boy that liked me.

SEVENTEEN
Ben's love.
I dont know how else to describe it, but being
home allowed me to witness Ben.
I love how he was with Ryder, or the cousins.
Its a shame not many people see him for who he really is.
They cant seem to get past his defensive bluster.
But he's brilliant and so very loyal.

EIGHTEEN
Being brave.

NINETEEN
Calgary Shenanigans

TWENTY
Welcoming Baby Girl.
TWENTY-ONE
Music

TWENTY-TWO
Annual Snowboard Trip

TWENTY-THREE
Funerals.
Maybe I'm awful, but for me funerals are never sad.
They're a time when everyone gathers to be together.
You spend time with each other and laugh and drink in being family.
And there's nothing sad about it.

TWENTY-FOUR
Roast off.
Everyone wins in a roast off.

TWENTY-FIVE
Reading parties.
My father
(brothers, aunts and uncles)
may mock me for this
but I loved this.

TWENTY-SIX
Iohane.
This here is a solid kid.

TWENTY-SEVEN
Trifle.
Nobody beats the younger generation trifle.
And I dont usually even like trifle.
TWENTY-EIGHT
Dear Katie.
When she loves me the world feels right.
But when she doesnt... Dont even get me started.

TWENTY-NINE
Dance Parties.
These children are ridiculous.
Ridiculously hardcore dancers.

THIRTY
Last but definitely not least...
Alaya
She made going to work everyday fun.
I laughed alot. Seriously a ton.
And even though I'm ridiculous, she ran with it.
We ate lunch together everyday.
We hid out in GA.
I adore so much about Alaya.

Feeling Friday

Today I've walked through the rain/snow, been cut and cauterized and slept.
Tomorrow I will try to be productive.

TGL Part I

(Tia, Ylanna, Mysha, Jesse, Lindsay)

(Edward & James)                                       (Ben & Jesse)

(Nathaniel, Jesse, Mysha)

(Emma & Makea's Baby, Aunt Margaret & Jessica, Kat, Nim)

                                 (Mysha & Helam)        .
(Shenoa, Tima, Rebecca)

(Lindsay, Maikal, Jesse, Nathaniel, Kyle, Brittany, Ali)

(Ali & Kyle)

(Mysha, Emily, Moroni)
(Teina, Minoa)

(William & Ali)
(Me & Edward)

(Elisha & Neiomi)

(Nim, Edward, Elisha)  .     .     .        .

A few things:
First - Aunt Margaret's younger children have always liked me more than other little children their same age. I'm not sure what it is, but it wins them to me instantly. People like to be liked. As such, I love her children. I used to win over the little ones with food bribery. Little Edward doesnt even need that.
Second - Maikal tells great stories... stories that have us being barely able to contain our laughter. But mostly I love how much Ali and Brit laugh. I'll be laughing along and then I'll look their way and they are killing themselves. I like it alot.
Third - Elisha... is a silly boy. Having Neiomi carry him to and fro... then trying to convince me Edward could pick him up and throw him. But he's rather darling.
Fourth - Anthony's son William has a mean mohawk... au naturel... It is awesome.
Fifth - its crazy how a picture slide show of my father's siblings during various ages shows a lot of repeat genetics in the current generations. We look like those before us.
Sixth - I officially think that strangers should not force hugs on people. If you dont know my name - we arent on a hugging basis. I'll be caught off guard once and will oblige, but I will dodge you every other time with skill and cunning.

As I'm going through the lists I'm realizing two things. First, that almost all the reading and movie watching occurred in the month of February. Apparently I was more inclined to sit down and entertain myself than to go out and entertain in Feb. My favorites you ask? Law Abiding Citizen (seriously it was so Kick A - super glad Dave illegally downloaded it and then I bailed on a super awkward YSA dance to watch it... good decisions) and all the book club books (aka all the books that Maikal and Jesse hooked me on when they'd read out loud... Far World, Percy Jackson... good times). And secondly, I'm realizing how many movies I wanted to see but didnt get a chance to watch. Drat.

3/1

Back to school my friends.
Turns out I kinda forgot how tiring school can be.
And therefore took a nap during my lunch break.
I might make that a daily ritual.
And I'm beat.
But look forward to...
A list of movies/books enjoyed in AB
And the family time/Grandpa's funeral recap
